The Workforce Development Program improves English proficiency skills and helps students explore career options. The ultimate goal of the program is to provide Berks County employers with a skilled talent pool who can contribute to the companies’ productivity.
There are two pathways from which to choose: manufacturing and healthcare.
• Successful assessment results
• Currently unemployed
• Prior work experience
• Full program participation (2 – 5 days/week, depending on pathway)
• Personal desire to succeed
• Vision of a better job and quality of life
